TED CHEN

Ted came to Boston to study at BU for his physical therapy degree and started to attend CBCGB’s english ministry in the summer of 1998. He attended the Charis young adult ministry and started to help with small group leading the following year. After graduation he continued to serve with Charis through small group leading and with the Friday night worship team and helped with Sunday English Ministry worship team as well. Ted met his wife, Mi Lin at small group bible study and were married in August of 2003. After his daughters were born and they started attending mustard seed classes, Ted started to help with mustard seed, helping to teach K2 and K3 and eventually helping with children’s worship on Sunday mornings. Around 2017, Ted rejoined CB worship team and eventually became the coordinator for CB worship team in the Fall of 2019.

Ted has served with CB worship and has helped with joint service worship throughout this time until the present. More recently, Ted has helped support the Alive youth worship team. Ted continues to work as a physical therapist at Emerson Hospital and is the father to Allie and Nina Chen who regularly attend Alive. His wife Mi currently serves on the finance committee.
